The LivingBoxx is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so we don't have a traditional reception. Below you'll find the most important information for your stay with us.

Arrival / Departure

Our apartments are available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival.

The apartment must be vacated by 11:00 AM on the day of departure.

The access code is only available during this booking period.

Damage
Any damage must be reported immediately to the LivingBoxx team, as otherwise you may be held liable.
Guests will also be held liable for damage caused by their visitors.

Bed Linen
The bed(s) will be freshly made upon arrival. Linen will not be changed during your stay. You are welcome to use the washing machines in our laundry room (for a fee).

Windows
Please keep the window closed or at most in the tilted position when you are not in your apartment. The window must be closed completely before departure! Thank you.

Towels
Upon arrival, you will find three towels of different sizes on the bed for each guest. These will not be changed during your stay. You are welcome to use the washing machines in our laundry room (for a fee).

Heating
Our apartments are equipped with underfloor heating. This is a slow-acting heating system. Therefore, we ask that you set your desired temperature once and keep it that way (day and night). Please note that changes to the setting will take a significant time to become noticeable.

The heating only switches on when you hear a very slight "click" when turning the knob up or down.

You can adjust the setting using the control boxes next to the apartment door and in the bathroom.

Lights
Please turn off the lights before you leave and when you are not in your apartment. Thank you.

Garbage Disposal
Two garbage bins are available in the covered courtyard for your garbage disposal. You can use these at any time. Please empty the trash can in your apartment before departure! Thank you.

Public Transportation
The "Akazienweg, Forchheim (near Karlsruhe)" tram stop is approximately 300 meters from the LivingBoxx. Tram lines 7 and 8 (Karlsruhe - Rastatt) depart from here. Bus line 106 (Karlsruhe - Rastatt) also departs from here.

Parking
Parking is available free of charge – "First come, first served."

The LivingBoxx parking spaces in the courtyard are marked. Please do not park in spaces marked otherwise or where parking is prohibited (e.g., due to fire department access).

If the parking spaces directly in front of the guest house are already occupied, please use the parking space near the train station, approximately 50 meters away (immediately on the right when exiting).

Cleaning Supplies
Cleaning supplies (brooms, buckets, and brooms) are available in the laundry room (second floor). You are welcome to borrow them. Please return them after cleaning. Thank you.

Cleaning
Final cleaning is included in your room rate.

Interim cleaning is available upon request and for a fee.

Smoking
Smoking is prohibited in all areas of the boarding house.

Each apartment is equipped with a smoke detector, which is linked to the building's fire alarm system and will trigger a fire department response if necessary.

Smoking is only permitted outdoors, in the immediate vicinity of the ashtrays.

In the event of a violation, the tenant will be held liable and will pay a minimum fine of €200. Any resulting renovation costs and a fire department response that are higher will be billed to the tenant.

Smoke detectors
All apartments are monitored by automatic smoke detectors. Any development of smoke, dust, or fumes must be avoided, as this will trigger the fire alarm.

Quiet Hours
Quiet hours are between 10:00 PM and 6:00 AM. From this time on, we ask that you maintain quiet in the apartments and hallways, as well as in the immediate vicinity of the LivingBoxx.

Roller Shutters
All apartments are equipped with electric roller shutters. The controls are located on the wall directly next to the window.

Snack Vending Machines
Our snack vending machine, as well as our coffee and soup vending machines, are located on the ground floor of the LivingBoxx. Enjoy to your heart's content.

Toilet paper
Upon arrival, you'll find a basic supply of toiletries and toilet paper in the bathroom. These items will not be replenished during your stay.

The LivingBoxx is a guesthouse, not a hotel, so you'll appreciate your low room rate.

Door lock
To ensure you can enter and exit independently at any time, as well as check in and out, we have an automatic key system on our doors. The battery needs to be replaced regularly.

Please note that our staff will also do this in your absence and may briefly enter your room.

Extension cord
There's an extension cord in the desk drawer that you're welcome to use.

Washing Machines
Washing machines and clothes racks are available in the laundry room.

Fee per wash: €6.00. Clothes racks are free of charge.

Please dry laundry only in the laundry room. Thank you.
